Dr. Ann Schutt-Ainé is a dedicated obstetrician/gynecologist and the Chief Medical Officer for Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast. Her career spans decades of commitment to patient care, education, and advocacy.
After graduating from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Schutt-Ainé completed her residency at Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh. She has served at Planned Parenthood affiliates across Pennsylvania and California before joining the team in Texas. Since 2008, she has been an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where she educates future medical professionals and introduced the first Ryan Residency Program in Abortion and Family Planning in Texas.
Dr. Schutt-Ainé is a proud member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the National Medical Association, and the Society of Academic Specialists in General Obstetrics and Gynecology. With a career rooted in compassion, education, and innovation, she embodies what it means to lead with purpose.
When she’s not working, Dr. Schutt-Ainé enjoys mentoring upcoming professionals and engaging in lifelong learning to stay ahead in her field.
